My dentist appointment yesterday went OK except he wants to replace 2 of my silver fillings with white ones. They had a cancellation for today so I took it. I might as well get it done and over with. I have a 10:30 appointment, so I should be able to eat by lunch time.
I went to an event last night called "Taste of Wadsworth". It's where many of the local restaurants set up tents in a parking lot and everyone buys tickets and goes around and tastes what they brought. I walked the whole area before I picked what I wanted. No real "wise" choices there. I didn't want a BBQ pork sandwich and several tents had that. I didn't want pizza and there was several tents with that. OH!!! and lots of yummy looking treat items. I really wanted some of that, but just passed them by. I decided I would get the 1/4 meatball sub. It only had 1/2 meatball on it so I didn't think that would be too bad. That's it. That's all I got. My hubby ate enough for both of us and brought treats home to eat. He offered me some and I declined. I just went in and got some zero points cantaloupe. We walked to and from the event so I got in some activity points too.
Eating yesterday was good, but still under in points. I have to start doing better to get those all in. Breakfast was Rice Chex and almond milk with 1 packet of splenda. Lunch was a ham sandwich again with laughing cow cheese and a pickle spear. For dinner I had the meatball sub and when I got home I had some leftover grillin' beans and cheese. For snacks yesterday I had cantaloupe and peanut butter filled pretzels. My points total was 24 points+
My activity was pulling weeds for an hour and walking to downtown and back. I would say it's probably a mile.
I managed to get in all my water for the challenge and I got all the bonus points. Day 1 down! I've already started on the water this morning with breakfast.
I have to get ready for my dentist appointment. My hubby has a golf banquet tonight, so it will probably be a WW dinner for me and I'm going to try and get a walk in. It's rainy this morning, but it's suppose to clear up around 10, so I will try and sneak in a walk today sometime plus get in a little more weeding.
That "Taste of Wadsworth" sounds like a dangerous event! Congrats on sticking with a small taste...you may not have gotten your money's worth, but you can't really put a price on your health, can you? :-)
ReplyDeleteDidn't cost me a penny. ;-) Hubby bought the tickets. My sandwich was 1 ticket so less than a dollar. I think the tickets were 6 for $5.00
